Experience a beloved Parisian classic!
Crêpes originated in Brittany, France, where buckwheat was introduced in the Middle Ages. Locals used it to make thin, savory pancakes called galettes. As wheat became more available, lighter sweet crêpes developed and spread throughout France. By the 20th century, crêperies appeared across Paris, turning the humble Breton crêpe into a beloved French classic enjoyed worldwide today.
In this hands-on, interactive class, you'll learn the art of crafting perfect French sweet crêpes Each participant will make at least half a dozen crêpes to take home. We will make up the remaining crêpes to enjoy together with decadent Chantilly cream and fresh berries.
What’s included:
- All necessary tools, equipment, and ingredients
- Step-by-step recipe and guidance to make at least 6 beautiful crêpes to take home, plus some to enjoy with the class.
- Containers to take home your delicious treats
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow time to check in. For health and safety, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed non-slip comfortable shoes.
