Workshops can be hosted at D'liteful’s Lake San Marcos chocolatier & patisserie, at select partner venues throughout North County San Diego, or at an approved workplace or event location. No previous chocolate-making experience is required.

A Chocolate Experience Built Around Your Group

Each workshop is tailored to your group size, location & goals. Depending on the experience, participants may learn chocolate-making techniques, create their own confections & take part in interactive activities together.

D'liteful was founded by Le Cordon Bleu London-trained Chef Dayleen Coleman, who has taught more than 30,000 students across the U.S. & U.K. Her background in chocolate, patisserie & hands-on instruction helps shape experiences that are educational and fun.

Party Timing

Chocolate parties include approximately 1.25 hours of hands-on activity, while Macaron and Cake Decorating parties include approximately 1.75 hours. An additional 15 minutes may be added for opening gifts. If you add lunch or a celebration cake, please allow additional time for those activities.

Ages & Group Sizes

D'liteful’s children’s parties are designed for ages 6–16, with specific age requirements and guest limits depending on the party package. Older teens and adults can inquire about a private class instead.

Parent Check-In

A parent or guardian must drop off and check in each child before the party begins.

Food & Beverages

 Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Food, beverage and celebration cake add-ons are available through D'liteful.

Location & Availability

Parties are hosted at our Lake San Marcos location at 1030 La Bonita Dr #200, San Marcos, CA 92078. Parties are not available on Sundays or Mondays.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Cancellations requested at least 7 days before the party may receive a refund less a 20% service fee. No refunds are available for cancellations made after that deadline. A party deposit may be transferred to another available date when the request is made at least 3 days before the scheduled party. If D'liteful must cancel the party due to unforeseen circumstances, the reservation may be fully refunded or rescheduled.
